Every strength-training app I've used wanted the same thing before it would let me log a single set: an account. An email. A password. Permission to hold my training history on a server I don't control.
Yuktisa Fit is the app I built instead. It is in App Store review for iOS, and there is no sign-up screen.
What it does
Yuktisa Fit is a strength-training companion built around one simple loop: train, log, progress.
Workout logging. Build your session from a library of exercises, log sets with weight and reps, and move on. Logging is fast by design. The app gets out of your way between sets, because the gym is for training, not for tapping through menus.
Training history. Every workout is saved on your device, building a complete record of your training over time. See what you lifted last week, last month, last year. Watch your numbers climb. Your history is yours. It never uploads anywhere.
Rest timer. Time your rest between sets with a simple, reliable timer. No account needed to use a stopwatch, obviously, but you'd be surprised how many apps disagree.
Yoga and meditation. Strength isn't only barbells. Guided yoga sessions and meditation practices live alongside the lifting, because recovery and mobility are training too. "Strong outside. Calm inside." isn't a slogan here. It's the feature list.
Who it's for
Lifters who are tired of the trade: your data in exchange for a workout log. If you've ever thought "why does a sets-and-reps tracker need my email address?", this is your app.
It's also for people starting out. There's no social feed to intimidate you, no leaderboards, no one watching. Just you, your program, and your progress.
How it's different
Three things, all structural:
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, no password to forget. Open the app and train.
- Local-first. Everything is stored on your device. No cloud, no sync servers, no analytics pipeline. Your training log is as private as a notebook in your gym bag.
- Core is free forever. Workout logging, history, the rest timer, yoga and meditation basics, free, permanently. Premium features (AI coaching, advanced insights) come later as new capabilities on top, never as a paywall around what you already use.
The details
- Launch: on the iOS App Store, currently in review
- Android: follows after iOS
- Price: free to download; core training features free forever
- Accounts required: none
- Data leaves your phone: never (your own device backups excepted)
Yuktisa Fit is the first product in the Yuktisa family, alongside Yuktisa Journal (private journaling, launching the same day). Same philosophy, same mascot, Yuki, the small quiet companion who shows up across every Yuktisa app.
If you want to get stronger without signing your data away to do it, try it on launch day.
